Empowering underserved women, girls, and vulnerable populations through education, mentorship, health support, economic empowerment, advocacy, and community development.
Breaking cycles of poverty, advancing gender equality, restoring hope, and creating lasting positive change in underserved communities throughout Liberia.
About Us
Bridge for Community Advancement Initiative (BCA) is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underserved women, girls, children, and vulnerable communities across Liberia.
We work directly with communities to address poverty, inequality, gender disparities, and social exclusion — fostering hope, resilience, and self-reliance through strategic partnerships.
Real Impact on the Ground
BCA distributed hundreds of hygiene kits — sanitary pads, underwear, and personal care products — to girls across multiple schools in Monrovia. Girls proudly raised their kits in celebration. No girl should ever miss school because she lacks hygiene supplies. This activity reached over 200 students across 3 schools, ensuring they can stay in class every day of the month.
BCA hosted its Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Training seminar under the theme "Empower To Earn." Women from across the community gathered to learn budgeting, small business development, marketing, customer engagement, and business planning skills. Participants took notes and engaged actively — many brought their babies and children, showing deep commitment to building a better future for their families.
